Councilman Hawkins Provides Hand Sanitizer to District 25 Schools

Louisville, KY – Metro Councilman Doug Hawkins (District 25) will hold a press conference on Wednesday October 7 at 10:00 a.m. at Kenwood Elementary School (7420 Justan Avenue) to announce a cooperative effort to purchase approximately 320 bottles of hand sanitizers to be placed in each classroom located in Southwest Jefferson County’s 25th Metro Council District.
Metro Councilman Doug Hawkins, working with Meijer’s (9905 Dixie Highway), Jewish Hospital Medical Center Southwest and Jefferson County Public Schools has arranged to purchase more than 320 Bottles of Hand Sanitizer for the nearly 5,000 students who attend 8 schools in District 25.
Schools participating in this partnership include: Doss High School, Stuart Middle School, CAL SW, Layne Elementary, Trunnel Elementary, Medora Elementary, Kenwood Elementary and Stonestreet Elementary.
