Metro Councilman Rick Blackwell will continue his tradition of bringing Metro Government to the people when the first District 12 Dialogue gets underway on Tuesday, January 15th. The event will be held at Incarnation Catholic Church, 2229 Lower Hunters Trace and begins at 7:00pm.

“I am looking forward to hearing from people in the district,” says Blackwell. “It is a brand new year and there may be some new challenges out there that some people want us to take a look at.”

TRIAD and senior services will be the focus of the first dialogue in 2008. Cindy Venable of this agency will be on hand to talk about its programs and answer questions.

Representatives of Louisville Metro Police, MSD, IPL and Neighborhoods will also be hand to answer questions or talk about concerns of residents of the district. A representative from Congressman John Yarmuth’s office will be in attendance to answer any federal government questions.

For more information about the January District 12 Dialogue, call Councilman Blackwell’s Office at 574-1112.
