Councilwoman Vicki Aubrey Welch is inviting residents of District 13 to the next “Coffee with your Councilwoman” in hopes of helping anyone who may be facing possible foreclosure.
“In these current economic conditions, there may be many who are either dealing with foreclosure or face that possibility,” says Welch. “I have invited the Legal Aid Society of Louisville to talk about this and other services.”
Andrea Hunt of the Legal Aid Society will be the featured guest of the event set for Saturday, August 13th at the First String Family Grill, located at 5921 New Cut Road beginning at 9:00am. She will talk about the Legal Aid mission and various programs offered to help those who need legal representation who may not be able to afford it.
“Coffee with your Councilwoman” is an informal gathering open to the public and offers an opportunity to discuss community issues with Councilwoman Welch in a relaxed setting.
“This is a chance to ask questions about any issue facing the district or Metro Louisville,” says Welch. ““If you would just like to chat, that’s fine, too, while you enjoy a free cup of coffee from First String.”
Homemade breakfast is available at a nominal cost.
