Louisville, KY – Residents along Brownsboro Road between Chenoweth and Rudy Lanes will notice another positive change made to improve safety, the adjustment of the posted speed limit from 45 mph to 35 mph. The Kentucky State Transportation Cabinet has changed the speed limit on Brownsboro Road in conjunction with the Brownsboro Road Safety Improvement Study which was funded in the FY2007 Metro Government Budget at a cost of $25,000.
“I would like to thank the State Transportation Cabinet for helping us take another important step towards improving safety along Brownsboro Road. The change in speed limit was made possible due to the concerns expressed by nearby residents and the use of information gathered during the Brownsboro Road Safety Improvement Study”
– Councilman Ken Fleming
