Mayor Requests Review of Alleged Animal Services Incident
The Metro Council’s decision to appoint an ad hoc committee to examine allegations involving a dog at Louisville Metro Animal Services — without first receiving the information that the Animals Services team had offered for weeks to provide them — led Mayor Greg Fischer today to ask the city’s Public Integrity Unit to review the incident.

New Online Mapping System Launched
A new online web mapping application that makes it easier for citizens to gather information is now available Mayor Greg Fischer announced today. The Louisville Environmental and Property Search (LEAPS) consolidates publicly-available environmental data from federal, state and local sources with information about city government-owned properties for sale in one searchable map.
