Champions 4 Her Walk, Run & Festival is a new, local event that will bring together ten area non-profit organizations to raise funds and awareness for the issues facing today's local women. Louisville ranks near the bottom on all critical measures affecting women and families, and Champions 4 Her Walk, Run & Festival is a homegrown effort to change that in a positive way. Participating teams and individuals will be able to run or walk a 5K, enjoy a festival on the Waterfront, and decide exactly how their fundraising efforts are distributed among the organizations.
Five Levels of Participation:
- Join the OFW team. Be a team member, raise money for your chosen beneficiaries & Walk/Run at the event with other OFW teammates.
- Pledge funds to the OFW team
- Put together your own team, raise money & walk/run at the event.
- Register as an individual. Raise money for your chosen beneficiaries & Walk/Run at the event.
- Donate your own funds to your chosen beneficiaries.

To Join the Office for Women Team:
1. Go to the website http://www.firstgiving.com/champions4her
2. Chose your beneficiaries of choice- “Designate Funds”. When you join our team, you will still be able to donate money you raised to the beneficiary organization of your choice.
3. Click on the “Get Started Button” and enter your information and $25.00 registration fee. The registration fee includes a t-shirt for you and the money will go to all the beneficiaries.
4. Be sure to chose the team: “Office for Women”
5. After you finish registering you have the opportunity to set up a personal fundraising webpage. It’s so easy. You can adjust the page to fit you personally and then send out an email to all your family, friends and co-workers to sponsor you in your efforts. It’s a great way to raise money. |

To Pledge Funds to the Office for Women Team:
- Follow the link to the team member of your choice’s fundraising page and pledge your money electronically. (*Note: funds pledged will go to beneficiaries chosen by the team member).
