Discrimination Complaints

Human Relations Commission:

Investigation and Resolution - The Human Relations Commission assists with filing a discrimination complaint if you feel you have been discriminated against based upon race, color, national origin, sex, age, religion, disability, familial status, sexual orientation or gender identity in employment, housing or public accommodations or are the victim of a Hate Crime. The Commission will conduct an impartial investigation of the complaint to determine if such discrimination did occur under applicable law.

Citizen’s Advocate - The Citizen’s Advocate offers help to citizens who believe they have been mistreated by a police officer. The Advocate assists with the process of filing complaints against officers by those who are uncomfortable in going to the police department to file a complaint.
