2008 Mayor's Youth Service Worker Awards

The Office of youth Development is seeking nominations for the 2008 Mayor’s Youth Service Worker Award for individuals who go above and beyond the call of duty in their work with youth in the community.

If you know someone in your workplace, community, church, or school whom you feel makes a difference in the life of a child and exemplifies outstanding service to youth, please take a moment to nominate them for this prestigious award.

The nominator, nominee and winners will all be recognized at the 2008 Mayor’s Youth Service Worker Awards Ceremony to be held on April 1, 2008, 7-9pm, Memorial Auditorium, located at 970 S. Fourth Street. A reception in the beautiful lobby of Memorial Auditorium will immediately follow the awards ceremony.

Ms. Dawne Gee, news anchor with WAVE-3, will emcee the awards ceremony and Mayor Abramson will honor award recipients for their work to make a difference in the lives of young persons in Louisville.

While it only takes a few moments of your time to nominate a candidate, the thrill for the candidate and the prestige to the candidate’s agency will last a lifetime!
