Christmas Tree Recycling Program

Program Dates:     December 27th - 1st week of January
Times:    10:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.


PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:

You can take your Christmas trees to any of these sites for mulching.  You are encouraged to bring containers to take home the fresh evergreen mulch to use in the spring.  Evergreen mulch performs particularly well for acid-loving plants, such as azaleas and rhododendrons.

For every 5 trees recycled, approximately 35 pounds of mulch can be created to help nourish new plant and tree growth.

Christmas Tree Vendors may recycle their unsold trees on December 27th at the 1st District located at 595 Hubbards Ln.
