PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:

Leaf Drop-off is available to you to dispose of your fall leaf trash. You may deliver your "Bagged Leaves" to the drop-off sites, but you must remove the leaves and dispose of the garbage bags as they cannot be deposited with the leaves.  No brush or tree trimmings will be accepted nor will leaves from commercial operators.

Urban Services District- 1450 Lexington Rd
An unlimited amount of leaves will be collected once a week from residents in the urban services district on their scheduled yard waste pickup day.  It is suggested that the leaves be bagged although they will be collected from cans (not carts).

Leaves in the Street:
Under no circumstances will leaves be picked up if they ar raked into the street and residents could be subjected to a fine for littering or illegal dumping.  Street cleaning vehicles try to make and extra run (over and above the 3 per year) down streets in designated areas of Crescent Hill, Highlands, Old Louisville, and Iroquois areas.  However, this is the regular street sweeping equipment and only sweeps leaves that have fallen naturally into the street.  This is done weather permitting.
