Vehicle Impoundment

In accordance with the recommendation as outlined in the Operational Review of Metro Public Works, the Vehicle Impound Lot is now the responsibility of Metro Police. Please refer to the Metro Police page for information concerning impounded vehicles and the impoundment auction. The new information can be found by clicking here. Impound Lot information will be left posted in the Public Works website for a limited amount of time.

This division is responsible for towing and impounding vehicles in violation of Metro parking regulations, blocking streets or abandoned in the public right of way.

Vehicle Impoundment has 18 employees working together to keep our roads free and clear of abandoned vehicles left on the right of way.

Public auction of unclaimed vehicles. 
Every 1st and 3rd Monday of the month unless otherwise noted in calendar. The auction begins promptly at 10:00 a.m., bidding numbers are handed out immediately before auction begins.
