Real Estate Leases

Our staff assists Metro agencies and departments in the negotiation of leases of property to satisfy various Metro Government space needs throughout the community. We formalize leases for office space, storage areas and a variety of other uses.   

Additionally, we represent Metro Government in the leasing of Metro-owned property to a broad section of the private and corporate sectors of the community.

Real Estate for Sale

We in Property Management also facilitate the purchase and sale of real estate to meet the various needs of Metro Government. Whether property is need for a new firehouse, or for the building or expansion of a road or other transportation corridor, it is the charge of our staff to insure that the negotiations are carried out in the best interests of Metro Government and our citizens.

The disposition of Metro-owned real estate which is no longer needed by metro Agencies or Departments is declared surplus by Metro Council and sold publicly, primarily through a sealed bidding process.
