Reminder: Junk Pickup Completed in Urban Services District for 2009
Metro Solid Waste Management has now completed all regular junk pickup for this calendar year in Louisville’s Urban Services District (former city of Louisville boundaries). 10/7/2009
Abramson Announces Free Junk Drop-Off Sunday Oct. 25
The city’s free, semi-annual bulk waste and junk drop-off collection day will be Sunday, October 25, 2008 at the Waste Management Outer Loop Landfill, 2673 Outer Loop.

Free Shredding Event Oct. 17
Mayor Jerry Abramson and Kentucky Attorney General Jack Conway today urged Louisville residents to begin collecting documents and materials now for the annual free community shredding event at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium on Saturday, October 17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. 10/5/2009
Mayor Announces Medication Disposal Program
Mayor Jerry Abramson today announced details of the city’s sixth “Drug Toss” that helps local residents properly dispose of expired or unused pharmaceuticals. Three disposal sites will accept medications Oct. 8-10. |
