Residents can recycle their natural Christmas trees, turning them into nutrient-rich mulch at no cost, following the holidays. Individuals can take their tree to a Louisville Tree-Cycling center on December 27th, 28th, 29th and again on January 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th.

Yard Waste, Recycling Pickup Delayed by One Day Thursday and Friday
Residential pickup of yard waste and recycling will be delayed by one day on Thursday, May 20 and Friday, May 21 according to Louisville Metro Division of Solid Waste Management. Normal collection service will resume on Monday, May 24.
