Louisville Ranked Second in National Digital Cities Survey
Louisville’s city government is one of the best in the nation in using technology to better serve its citizens according to a new survey. Metro Government placed second nationally in the Digital Cities Survey, conducted by e.Republic’s Center for Digital Government. The survey looks at how well city governments use information technology in improving and delivering basic services, managing budgets, providing public safety and other areas.
Louisville Metro Offers New Mobile Apps
The new “Louisville Mobile” app can now be downloaded from both the iPhone store and Android store and includes the city’s top stories, news, events, restaurant inspection scores and a feature that allows you to find things to do at local Metro Park’s by location and feature.
City Website Honored With National “Best Of the Web” Award
Metro Government’s website, louisvilleky.gov, earned second place honors in the City Portal Category, just behind first place finisher, Boston in the Center for Digital Government's Best of the Web Awards.
