Pardon our Progress
Effective July 1, 2014, the Louisville Metro Department of Community Services and Revitalization is known simply as the Department of Community Services. This new name results from a reorganization with the former Revitalization division becoming part of the Louisville Forward -- which combines economic and real estate development strategies -- while the Community Services department will continue to provide social and family services for Louisville’s low and moderate income residents. Please pardon our progress on our website as we implement this new structure.
