Healthcare Businesses and Facade Improvements Approved by METCO

Three loans in the amount of $225,000 were approved by the Louisville Metropolitan Business Development Corporation. These loans will leverage $2.2 million in total investment.
· $100,000 loan to Shepherds Care Memory Home, LLC, located at 8802 Smyrna Parkway. The loan will allow owner Mark Hegele to open an 18-room assisted living facility for Alzheimer and dementia care. The loan will be used for working capital and will create 13 new jobs.
· $75,000 loan to Imperium Health Management, LLC, located at 1808 Round Ridge Road. The loan will allow owners Gary Albers and Gary Thompson to open a new coordinated care company that will assist doctors, hospitals and other healthcare providers establish and organize newly required Accountable Care Organizations.
· $50,000 façade loan to Downtown Bound, LLC, located at 514 S. 5th Street. This loan will allow owners Andy and Griffin Meredith and Tanner Watkins to renovate and restore the exterior of the property. Façade work will include a new storefront and windows, tuck pointing and painting.
