METCO Approves One Loan Amends Another

Thursday November 1, 2012

One loan in the amount of $47,500 was approved by the Louisville Metropolitan Business Development Corporation, to The Silver Spoon, a catering business that has been operating since 1986 in the Louisville and Lexington area.

The Silver Spoon has been selected to manage and operate the Derby Museum’s food and catering business, including the Derby Café. This project will create 20 jobs.

METCO also voted to reduce a previously approved loan to Bourbon Barrel Foods, from $95,000 to $75,000, because of collateral requirements.

The next METCO meeting will be a joint meeting for November and December, occurring on Thursday, December 13, at 9 a.m.
