Three Small Businesses Approved for METCO Loans

Five loans in the amount of $228,079 were approved by the Louisville Metropolitan Business Development Corporation. These loans will leverage $736,479 in total investment.
· $30,000 loan to Innovative Conveyor Technology LLC, located at 2800 Miners Lane. The loan will allow owner Warren T. Gabhart to purchase materials which will allow the company to manufacture a key component in-house for their conveyor belt production. Previously, the component had been imported. This project will create two new jobs.
· $94,579 Go Green loan; $50,000 façade loan; and $10,000 accessibility loan to Bardstown Road Centre, LLC, located at 3415 Bardstown Road. The loans will allow owners Dana Delsignore and Kevin Campisano to upgrade this 50-year old building, replacing the original chiller, removing large concrete panels and renovating the façade, as well as adding accessibility enhancements.
· $43,500 loan to Cellar Door Chocolates, located at 1201 Story Avenue, #109. This loan will allow owner Erika Chavez-Graziano to increase its production and move into a large space within Butchertown Market to accommodate the businesses’ growth. This project will create two new jobs.
