For the St. James Court Art Show October 4-6, convenient, easy-off and easy-on access to all interstate highways is provided by the SSNA (Second Street Neighborhood Association) at the JCTC (Jefferson Community & Technical College) parking lot. The JCTC parking has ample surface parking for hundreds of vehicles of any size. Customers do not have to worry about fighting traffic or being blocked in. Shuttles run from one hour before the Art Show opens until one hour after the Art Show closes.
Parking and shuttle is $10 per vehicle. Walk-ins are $5 per person or $10 per family or groups of four or less. The shuttle ride takes about 5 minutes and drops customers off a half block from the Art Show. Several, 15-passenger vans, circulate continuously so customers never wait more than a few minutes, if at all. Baby strollers and packages can be carried in the rear of the van. Attendants are at each stop to assist customer loading and unloading. Please ask any attendant for directions back to the interstates.
Coming from the north, take I-65 South and then take the first downtown exit, 136C, to Jefferson – Brook Street, follow Jefferson Street portion of the exit ramp, follow the black-on-yellow signs from Jefferson St. to Second St., turn left at Second St., continue 4½ blocks south on Second St.; the JCTC entrance is on the left after you past Chestnut Street.
Coming from the south, take I-65 North and then take the Broadway exit ramp, follow the black-on-yellow signs to Broadway, turn left at Broadway, turn right at Second Street; the JCTC entrance is on your right.
Coming from the east, take I-64 West, or I-71 South, and then follow interstate signs to I-65 South, exit to I-65 South and follow directions above for I-65 South.
Coming from the west, take-64 East and then since the new bridge construction does not allow you to take I-65 South, instead take the 9th Street exit, travel south on 9th Street for several blocks, turn left at Broadway, travel east on Broadway, and turn left at Second Street (at the McDonalds); the JCTC entrance is on your right.
The JCTC parking and shuttle service is operated by the Second Street Neighborhood Association and proceeds benefit the Old Louisville National Historic Preservation District and the Jefferson Community & Technical College Foundation. We thank you for your support.
