Worldfest 2011 Was a Huge Success!
Worldfest celebrated its ninth year, September 2-4, 2011, over the three day Labor Day Weekend. Visit the Worldfest page to learn more about Worldfest 2012!

In 2010, Louisville was selected to receive the inaugural World Festival & Event City Award from the International Festivals and Events Association (IFEA), with Worldfest named one of the city's outstanding festivals. Worldfest, is the region’s largest and most exquisite international cultural festival of its kind. Worldfest kicks off International Heritage Month and is a unique opportunity for the local immigrant population to build an active presence in the Louisville community. For the region at large, it is a chance to become familiar with the local international community and what it has to offer. Worldfest is expected to draw over 100,000 visitors from across the region this year with a multitude of festivities that include the annual Parade of Cultures and the state’s largest naturalization ceremony. An even greater assortment of international food, music, entertainment and crafts is planned for all three days from 11:00am to 11:00pm daily.
