Anyone who wants to host a parade, walk, road or foot race, rally or public gathering in Louisville Metro that will be held in a public venue or that will affect public property or rights-of-ways must file a Special Event Permit Application with the Louisville Metro Codes and Regulations Department/Permits and Licenses Division. A Site Map defining the event area and all public areas and rights-of-ways that will be affected by the event must be attached to the Special Event Permit application.
