Local Government Radio
 Local Government Radio (LGR) is a division of MetroSafe that dispatches for several non-emergency Metro Government Agencies, including Public Works, Metro Parks, Solid Waste Management, the Jefferson County Coroner’s office, and detectives for Youth. Some of their job responsibilities include reporting potholes, traffic signal outages, barricade request, hazardous road conditions, emergency maintenance request for various Metro buildings and parks. On the second Tuesday of each month, LGR is accountable for testing the Outdoor Warning Sirens and the hospital informer system. Finally, LGR is also responsible for entering and tracking vehicles that are towed by Louisville Metro Police and other contract wrecker services.
