People like you - who choose to make our city better – are a big reason Louisville has been named the “Most Livable Large City in the United States” by the U.S. Conference of Mayors. Citizens keep our neighborhoods strong, build trails in parks, teach children to read, walk orphaned dogs, serve on boards, and many other activities.
Last year, nearly 18,000 volunteers provided over $5 million in service to Louisville. Like you, they want to live in a better place, build skills and learn new ones, and meet new people.
Whether you are a new or experienced volunteer, this page can connect you to new and meaningful opportunities to make a difference. Thank you for the work that you do.
Mayor Jerry Abramson
